Life without concerts

I haven't been to a concert in over a year and with everything going on right now it doesn't like I will again anytime soon. It is a gaping hole in my heart and it's come to pass where I can't even listen to my beloved metal because of the emotional turmoil it causes me. I've taken up art so now I paint to distract from so many changes in my life.

I passed the torch on Eluveitie NA two years ago but I always look back. I miss it. I miss it all.

I'm alone and feel very old. Maybe one day I can listen again without the grief of loss washing over me for the life and the friends that I no longer have but after two years that hasn't happened yet.
